I have created this blog to document the TRUTH behind the poor feedback rating I have received from someone called segun_oa on ebay.
On 3rd May 2007 at 21:14, I won an auction set up by segun_oa for Ridge Racer for the PSP. The cost of this was £4.98 for the item, plus postage was either £3.99 1st class or £4.99 first class recorded. I felt the postage charge was pretty steep but paid for the £4.99 recorded service. This was then paid in full on the same day (3rd May 2007) at 21:27
After 6 days I had heard nothing so chased the seller and then on that day the item then finally got posted (envelope is franked with the same date).
Once it arrived I was surprised to find it had not been sent recorded as paid for but instead just standard first class. Also it was just despatched in a plain brown envelope, absolutely no padding at all. An item like this should have been sent in a jiffy envelope at the minimum.
I was unhappy with this so contaced segun_oa but they failed to reply within a week. I had paid extra for something which had not happened (recorded delivery) and also the packaging was totally insufficient given the very high cost being charged.
I then gave them honest feedback "poorly packaged, expensive p&p. not sent recorded even though paid extra for it"
They have then given me my first ever negative feedback which reads "Lying cheating stealing non-paying ebayer! Avoid at all cost!!! Horrible ebayer!"
I have therefore set up this blog page to tell the truth. How on earth I could have stolen or not paid is just pure nonsense. The item was paid for 13 minutes after winning the auction. Looking t the bad feedback segun_oa has left for others it seems to be their standard reply if anyone dares to raise any issues/bad feedback.
Whilst this seller has on the whole got good feedback (hence my initial purchase) I would warn others to be very wary as they are obviously the liar. Its a shame that idiots like this spoil the wonderful ebay experience for the rest of the honest ebay users.
I have reported their actions to ebay as well (so have lots of other people) so they are aware of the abuse of the feedback system in posting totally dishonest comments.
